REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING
Patient monitoring continues to evolve with new technological advances. There are software systems and devices to monitor blood glucose or heart ECG or a variety of indicators for homebound patients. Such services can be used to supplement the use of visiting medical staff.

Medical Education provides continuing medical education for health professionals and special medical education seminars for targeted users in remote locations.
CONSUMER MEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATION
On-line patient information is available through secured links. Patients can communicate with their physicians if it is not necessary for an office visit. There are also discussion support groups for patients that need to talk with other patient.
SHARED HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Facilities are able to share health information systems (HIS) for patient care services. The use of a centrally located shared but autonomous database provides patient care information management tools. Tools include physician dictionaries, patient demographic information, ordering and result tools, billing and reporting tools.
